Her backstory put so many things together. Enjoying this show fr bruv.

Higan went hard lol, seeing how explosive his power is now thanks to suit was cool. I still prefer the suitless combat but it was still cool to see what he could with it.

It was nice to learn more about Emma/Asuka's relationship with Mari and how she became a ninja and spy, they had a sweet relationship. It was also nice to see Higan's reaction to becoming a father. These moments are a treat considering how sad the situation is for Higan currently as he's fighting for revenge.

Mari being the one who created the disguise technology was a big surprise, I did not think she was capable of such a thing but I like how much effort she put into making sure she and her new coming family could live in peace.

I am looking forward to seeing Yamaji's intentions since he's the reason the ninjas are in this situation where they are not unified as one.

Yeah I'm a little nervous that they're going to keep relying on 3D CGI for the upcoming climax fights with Higan in the suit. The 3D quality is about what I expected (good but not great), and is a bit of a letdown compared to the top-tier fully 2D animated fights we've seen previously before Higan acquired the suit.

I'm still enjoying the characters and story though which I expect will stay strong through the rest of the season. I just hope the action can keep up with with the rest of the show.

I am getting high Gungrave vibes from this episode, with the one strong, silent hero mowing down yet another top brass of the all powerful crime syndicate🤔
